“John was quick to answer my request and provide me with an accurate estimate. The job had to expedited, as the house was scheduled to be rented in (2) days. The front porch boards were rotted, with the possibility that someone could put their foot through. Too much of a liability. John replaced the steps and front porch boards quickly. While doing the job it was discovered that the structural balusters were also rotten and needed to be replaced. He found new balusters and installed them that day. It was a long day, but well-worth it to me to have the job done right and on time. I highly recommend Murray construction for any home-improvement needs.”

He had quoted the job but when he came, he charged me 1/2 of the quote because his costs ended up being less than he quoted. The job was tricky because he had to replace a weight bearing beam, but he brought the necessary equipment and completed the job. I am very pleased with the outcome and I would highly recommend this carpenter because he is honest and does a very good job. I plan to ask him to look at more work I have and hire him if he is available.”
